Manama, Oct. 8 (BNA): After the first phase of the Advanced Generation Residential Buildings Project in Madinat Salman completed with 1,382 units, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi announced the start of the second phase, which will provide 432 ownership apartments.

She confirmed that in order to increase housing options and speed up delivery, the ministry is still carrying out housing projects in accordance with the Government Programme (2023–2026), which is backed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and overseen by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

According to the minister, construction has started and 72% of the foundations have been finished utilizing contemporary building technology. With additional features including parking, green areas, and commercial services, the new designs are based on modern models from the earlier phase.

Al Rumaihi pointed out that the project uses eco-friendly materials, contemporary Bahraini architectural façades, and water and energy-efficient technologies to meet sustainability criteria. In order to better serve the needs of families, she added, beneficiary input has been included into the updated designs.

She attested that the project is moving forward according to plan, guaranteeing that residents will receive their apartments on time.
