September 25, Manama (BNA): A new version of the “Government Employee” app was released by the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) and the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA). In acknowledgment of its importance for bolstering digital transformation initiatives, increasing openness, and inspiring staff to perform better, the update launches a tool that allows civil servants to access comprehensive performance review data for the last three years.

According to the CSB, the new facility enables users to download the relevant reports in PDF format and view evaluation results for the previous three years. It enhances the capabilities of the app, including the ability to examine attendance records (with the option to request for authorization to arrive late or exit early) and an administrative reporting service that enables both employees and non-employees to submit reports directly to the appropriate government authorities.

These new features were chosen using exacting standards that address employee needs. The app is currently one of the Bureau’s main digital platforms for quick and flexible service delivery.

By saving employees’ time and effort through instant information and notifications via an intuitive digital platform, it reduces the need for paper-based processes, increases the efficiency of data access, and offers a qualitative leap in enhancing the efficiency of government services.
