Bahrainouna’s Executive Office launches Bahrain National Values Icons contest with BD 1,000 prize for winner
In order to create a cohesive visual design that embodies Bahrain’s true character, designers, creatives, and university students are invited to turn the 18 national ideals into a series of contemporary slogans.
In keeping with the goals of “Bahrainouna,” which are to strengthen national belonging and reinforce citizenship values, the competition, which was launched on April 12, aims to showcase national creative talent and encourage them to present an innovative visual vision that showcases Bahraini national values in a modern way.
Participants must be at least 15 years old in order to compete. Individuals or teams of no more than two people may submit entries; all phrases must be created in a contemporary style and within a single, cohesive visual idea.
The Executive Office asked participants to send their ideas to contest@bahrainouna.com via email, along with a report based on the template that is included, outlining the design’s creative concept, artistic style, and degree of alignment with national ideals.
A specialized judging committee will assess entries according to standards such as originality and innovation, cohesive visual design, concept and symbol clarity, and technological excellence and usability.
According to the Executive Office, the winning pair of slogans will be formally adopted and featured in a handbook, along with a financial prize of BD1,000.
It stated that the competition is a component of a number of programs designed to increase awareness, bolster youth culture, foster national creativity, and promote community involvement in using contemporary, powerful methods to convey its identity and values.
