Manama, April 1 (BNA): In collaboration with the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and the Ministry of Interior, His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, and Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, National Guard Staff Director, conducted a field inspection of National Guard units and their designated duties to protect the Kingdom’s security.
National Guard Commander reviews duties, praises readiness and combat efficiency
HH, the National Guard Commander, received briefings on operational and logistical readiness as well as a briefing on the units’ operational tasks in light of recent regional developments during the tour. His Highness was especially impressed by the staff’s great dedication and excellent morale in carrying out their responsibilities effectively to defend assigned areas and fend off any threats. He commended National Guard members for their professionalism and skill in handling a variety of difficulties.
As the visit came to an end, His Highness thanked all of the staff for their commitment and hard work. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, sent them their regards and encouragement. In order to secure the Kingdom, preserve its resources, and uphold the safety of its citizens and residents, His Highness declared that Bahrain’s armed forces and security services will keep improving their capabilities.
