Manama, March 25 (BNA): Volunteers taking part in the “Bahrain is Well… According to the “Because You Are Its People” campaign, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s residents’ desire to support national initiatives led to the opening of volunteer registration, demonstrating high levels of public participation and community awareness.

Volunteers noted that the high attendance demonstrates societal solidarity and a shared feeling of duty, and that involvement is motivated by a desire to support national efforts.
Participants described their duties in a variety of areas in statements to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), including helping with damage assessment and response activities, managing field teams, supporting operations at shelter centers, and contributing to public health initiatives. Work is done in accordance with operational needs and in consultation with the appropriate authorities.
They pointed out that, especially in extraordinary situations, organized volunteerism inside formal frameworks maximizes impact, increases efficiency, and improves coordination. Receiving reports, guiding teams to impacted locations, and guaranteeing resource preparedness and follow-up are among the responsibilities.
Volunteers added that ongoing involvement strengthens social cohesiveness and collective resilience and fosters cooperation, civic responsibility awareness, and community relationships.
