Manama, March 17 (BNA): Iran’s threats to block international navigation in the Strait of Hormuz have deeply alarmed Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Such acts are regarded as a dangerous escalation that jeopardizes regional stability and global peace, violate international law and the law of the sea, and seriously jeopardize maritime security in the Gulf region. In order to safeguard freedom of navigation in this strategically important region for all nations and their essential interests, a strong international response is required.
