Manama, February 10 (BNA): The Capital Municipality Council in Tubli now has access to the self-service eKiosk for the Information & eGovernment Authority’s (iGA) services. The project demonstrates the continued cooperation and partnership between the Authority and the Capital Municipality Council to assist the Kingdom’s digital ambitions by offering a site that is easily accessible to people and residents.
iGA provides self-service eKiosk at Capital Municipality Council in Tubli
Users can examine chip data using an ID card reader and update the ID card chip information, including residential address details, using the eKiosk. Additionally, it permits users to register with the Government Notifications Service, which gives them the ability to see notifications directly through the eService and receive official notices electronically via email or SMS.
The eKiosk, according to the iGA, is consistent with the organization’s endeavors to broaden digital channels and promote digital transformation, thereby facilitating citizens’ and residents’ ability to swiftly and conveniently access government services and finish their transactions without having to go to government service counters.
In the Kingdom, the self-service eKiosks can be found at various locations, such as the iGA headquarters in Isa Town (which is open around-the-clock), the iGA branch at Seef Mall Muharraq, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) office, the Bahrain Mall post office, the General Directorate of Traffic (GDT) office in Wadi Al Sail, the Social Insurance Organization (SIO), and, more recently, the Capital Municipality Council in Tubli.
Please check the National Portal, bahrain.bh, or the iGA’s official social media feeds @igabahrain for up-to-date information on the locations and hours of operation of the self-service eKiosks.
