Manama, February 9 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy King, paid a visit to the Bahrain Defence Force’s (BDF) General Command today.

HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the BDF Commander-in-Chief, HE Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, the Minister of Defence Affairs, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, the BDF Chief of Staff, and a number of other high-ranking officials welcomed His Royal Highness upon his arrival.
His Royal Highness emphasized how His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, continues to support the BDF’s continuous development and battle readiness.
In addition to praising the BDF’s efforts in carrying out their national duty, His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of the force’s ongoing training to maintain the highest standards of readiness and preparedness.
After praising the BDF’s devotion and selflessness, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa emphasized the group’s importance in upholding national obligations and advancing the Kingdom’s overall development objectives.
The BDF’s strategic plans, programs, and initiatives that are being carried out to improve its overall combat readiness were presented to His Royal Highness.
HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa was thanked by HRH the Deputy King for his contribution to the advancement of the BDF’s overall development.
His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of the BDF and its allies in preserving peace and security.
