September 26, Manama (BNA): Applications for media professionals looking for permits to cover the 2025–2026 horse racing season are now being accepted, according to the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC). The period for registration is September 25, 2025, through October 9, 2025.
REHC opens media permit applications for 2025–2026 season
On October 31, the club’s racecourse in Raffa will open for the new season, which will include a schedule of domestic and foreign races that have been authorized as part of the official calendar.
His Majesty the King’s Cup Festival on March 5–6, 2026, the Crown Prince’s Cup Festival on January 29–30, 2026, and the Bahrain International Trophy on November 14 are the season’s highlights. The season ends on April 17, 2026.
According to the club, the accreditation process reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain‘s dedication to solidifying its position on the world horseracing map by facilitating early coverage for local and international media outlets.
