August 28, Manama (BNA): National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, and Supreme Defense Council Secretary General Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa visited the National Cyber Security Center’s “Cyber Shield 2025” national cyber drill, which was sponsored by His Highness. “Supply Chain Attacks” was the focus of the exercise, and several government and commercial sector organizations participated.

Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the CEO of the National Cyber Security Center, and Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, the Deputy National Security Advisor and Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme Defense Council, accompanied HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad.
With the backing of the government led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasized that the Kingdom of Bahrain is working to strengthen its national cyber security capabilities, acknowledging that it is a strategic priority to preserve the Kingdom’s accomplishments and the overall development process.
“The Kingdom’s awareness and recognition of the importance of joint action and ongoing coordination among all parties to confront cyber challenges, which have emerged as the greatest security threat of the current era,” said HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, in reference to the national cyber drill. In keeping with the Kingdom’s goals for a digital future, His Highness praised the efforts of the Bahraini experts participating in the exercise and their commitment to creating a safe and robust cyber environment.
His Highness received a comprehensive briefing on the drill’s phases, implementation procedures, and advanced cyber elements during the visit. The drill’s goal is to improve national preparedness for the growing threats posed by the internet.
