Muscat, February 1 (BNA): Oman’s Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, in collaboration with Nova Space, organized the Middle East Space Conference 2026, which was hosted in the Sultanate of Oman. A delegation from the Bahrain Space Agency (BSA), led by Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Aseeri, Chief Executive Officer of the Agency, attended.

Chief of Strategic Planning and Projects Rasha Yasser Al Amad and Head of Geospatial Analytics Roaya Rashid Bubshait were among the delegation.
The Kingdom of Bahrain’s dedication to enhancing regional and global collaboration in the space industry, as well as to sharing knowledge and exhibiting domestic initiatives and advancements, is shown in the participation.
Besides the conference, the delegation took part in the 12th meeting of the Arab Space Cooperation Group, where Rasha Al-Ahmad chaired the group’s strategic planning committee and Roya Bubscheid gave a presentation on the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Members of the delegation also participated in technical and panel sessions and held bilateral meetings with representatives of space agencies and international companies to explore opportunities for cooperation, monitor ongoing projects, and develop new partnerships to support the growth of the Saudi space sector.
The BSA’s participation highlights the Kingdom’s participation in regional and international space dialogue and its contribution to creating an integrated Arab space ecosystem that supports sustainable development.
