September 30, Manama (BNA): The deputy prime minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, came to Diyar Al Muharraq to examine the Al Naseem project once the villas were finished. The chairman of the Diyar Al Muharraq Company, Abdulhakim Yaqoob Al Khayyat, invited the visit.

Senior officials who accompanied Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah included Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, the Electricity and Water Authority’s president; Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture; Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, the Works Minister; Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, the Electricity and Water Affairs Minister; Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, the Housing and Urban Planning Minister; and Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf, the Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) Board of Directors.

In line with the objectives of the comprehensive development process headed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and directed by His Royal Highness Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Bahrain‘s real estate development sector is continuing to make significant strides, according to the Deputy Prime Minister. This development strengthens the Kingdom of Bahrain’s standing as a desirable location for investment and increases the competitiveness of the national economy.

He emphasized that by strengthening governance, transparency, and stakeholder rights protection, the government is developing the legal and regulatory framework for real estate development. According to him, this should be founded on a well-rounded approach to urban planning that puts the quality of life first, adjusts to industry changes, and fosters an atmosphere that appeals to investors and developers alike.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah emphasized the value of the public-private sector collaboration as a component of the national economy, which has proven to be effective in promoting growth and enabling the successful completion of significant strategic projects. He recognized the private sector as a vital development partner, especially in increasing the non-oil industries’ contribution, of which real estate development is a crucial element.

He clarified that investor confidence and the continuous need for integrated housing projects and services are reflected in the stability of real estate market activity, which supports economic diversification goals and generates high-quality employment and investment prospects.

Along with other important projects across the country, the Deputy Prime Minister praised the Al Naseem project’s noteworthy contribution to the urban scene during his inspection of its components. In order to assist the Kingdom’s real estate development pace, he further praised Diyar Al Muharraq City as an integrated urban concept that combines contemporary housing with a variety of commercial, service, and investment activities. He wished those in charge of these projects continued success.

The chairman of the Diyar Al Muharraq Company, Abdulhakim Yaqoob Al Khayyat, expressed pride in Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah’s visit to the Al Naseem project and praised his continued interest in the real estate industry and support for developers to continue producing fruitful outcomes that promote all-encompassing development and boost the country’s economy.
