Manama, Sep. 17 (BNA): The General Coordinator of the Governorates attended a meeting with the governors, which was presided over by Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.

The minister praised the governorates’ efforts to stay in touch with the public and deal with matters that could compromise social cohesiveness or security. He emphasized their efforts to support young people through programs and activities that preserve national accomplishments while reaffirming national traditions, values, and a sense of belonging. Additionally, he emphasized how crucial it is to use social and religious events to advance Islamic principles and constructive communal behaviors.
General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah emphasized the need of engagement with local Majalis and citizens, characterizing them as venues that foster values and identity for younger generations and as a part of Bahrain‘s national and cultural legacy. In order to guarantee effective service delivery, he also emphasized the role that governorates play in raising security awareness, assisting initiatives that make use of contemporary technology, and fortifying community partnership mechanisms.
The concerns and programs that are presently being implemented in the governorates were also examined at the meeting.
