Manama, Feb. 9 (BNA): Today’s inauguration ceremony for the Royal Medical Services Emergency Medicine Building, Isolation Ward, and Open Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Building was presided over by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The inauguration ceremony was held at the Bahrain Defence Force Hospital, and His Majesty deputized Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), assigned Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, to attend.

The 58th anniversary of the BDF’s founding was celebrated at the same time as the event.
Lt. Gen. Al Nuaimi was informed on the state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge medical equipment included in the expansion while seeing the Emergency Medicine Building, the Isolation Ward, and the Open MRI Building.
The minister emphasized that these important medical initiatives, especially the Open MRI machine, mark a significant improvement in diagnostic capabilities. The Commander-in-Chief’s oversight, the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, and the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, are all reflected in them, he said, adding significantly to the BDF’s advanced medical services.
Lt. Gen. Al Nuiami praised the RMS’s efforts to deliver cutting-edge healthcare by building state-of-the-art facilities, outfitting them with the newest medical technology, and ensuring that medical staff members meet the highest standards in a range of specializations. He wished everyone more prosperity, advancement, and accomplishment.
