Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): The fourth edition of the Manama Health Congress and Expo, which was organized by the Government Hospitals in collaboration with the Arab Hospitals Federation with widespread regional and international participation, was opened by Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Health. The event offers a national and regional forum for addressing future trends in healthcare, according to Dr. Mariam Adhbi Al Jalahma, Chair of the Congress and Chief Executive Officer of Government Hospitals. This edition, she pointed out, is happening at a time when digital transformation is speeding up and the usage of AI and clinical governance technologies is expanding.

According to her, the congress shows how far the Kingdom of Bahrain has come in the health sector and how dedicated Government Hospitals are to promoting research, fostering innovation, and implementing cutting-edge care models that boost productivity and raise service standards.

She continued by saying that the conference and its associated expo were prepared to the highest organizational standards, providing attendees and participants with an all-encompassing experience and bolstering Bahrain’s standing as a regional hub for healthcare.

By attending the congress, Fadi Alame, President of the Arab Hospitals Federation, expressed delight in the ongoing collaboration with Bahrain. According to him, the occasion has grown into a significant yearly meeting for talking about advancements in the area’s healthcare industry.

In addition to highlighting Bahrain’s role in supporting scientific initiatives and encouraging the sharing of expertise among Arab medical professionals, he said that the congress is a successful example of Arab collaboration in the medical sphere. This version is especially important, he continued, because it is in line with worldwide advancements in advanced care models, clinical governance, and artificial intelligence.

The Arab Hospitals Federation’s chief executive officer and official spokesperson, Alice Yammine Boueiz, praised the organizer’s and Government Hospitals’ efforts. According to her, the level of organization promotes medical policies and procedures in accordance with regional and global norms and supports Arab health integration.

One of the top specialized healthcare events in the area, the Manama Health Congress and Expo brings together experts and decision-makers to discuss innovations and technologies that aid in the growth of health systems.

The four themes of this year’s edition are clinical governance, modern forms of care delivery, artificial intelligence in medicine, and improving the effectiveness of health systems. Global initiatives aiming at modernizing healthcare systems and enhancing medical services are reflected in these areas.

Up until December 13, congress sessions and related workshops will take place, exhibiting cutting-edge medical and healthcare practices through specialized scientific panels and presentations. Participants in the program get the chance to interact and share expertise with professionals from throughout the region and beyond.
