Manama, February 11 (BNA): The Radiation Protection Program was introduced by the Government Hospitals administration in collaboration with the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) and the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE).
Government Hospitals launch Radiation Protection Programme in coordination with SCE, NHRA
The program’s goal is to improve the knowledge and abilities of radiology staff members, such as radiologic technologists and radiographers, in applying radiation safety regulations. Additionally, it strengthens adherence to regulatory rules and preventive measures by supporting adherence to recognized professional licensing requirements and standardizing concepts and practices linked to radiation safety in healthcare facilities.
Through specialized training programs and by fortifying frameworks of cooperation and coordination with pertinent institutions, the management of Government Hospitals reaffirmed its commitment to investing continuously in the development of national competences. These initiatives support maintaining the quality of healthcare services in accordance with the highest standards of quality and occupational safety while keeping up with the most recent advancements in science and the profession.
