Manama, Oct. 28 (BNA): To improve healthcare services for those who are determined, the Ministry of Social Development and Al Hilal Healthcare Group have inked a collaboration agreement.

Dr. Sharath Chandran, CEO of Al Hilal Healthcare Group, and Ziyad Adel Darwish, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development, signed the contract.
As per the arrangement, cardholders will have access to a wide range of services at all Al Hilal locations, with the exception of Al Hilal Premier Hospital. A free yearly consultation in all medical specialties, a free basic health examination that includes blood sugar, cholesterol, creatinine, and BMI, 50% off general, emergency, and specialty consultations, 15% off radiology services like X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI, 10% off procedures, surgeries, inpatient care, and injections, and four physical therapy sessions totaling BHD 30 are all included.
Dr. Chandran stated that the initiative is in line with Al Hilal‘s vision to support national programs for people with determination and promote social solidarity, while Darwish emphasized that the partnership strengthens community engagement and expands access to specialized services, reflecting the ministry’s commitment to social responsibility.
