Manama, Jan. 21 (BNA): Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi reiterated that maintaining genuine Bahraini customs and traditions and bolstering national identity continue to be the Ministry’s top goals as essential cornerstones in promoting a sense of national belonging among young people.
Youth Minister attends Bil Bahraini closing ceremony
This occurred while she was present at the “Bil Bahraini” program’s closing ceremony, which took place at Souq Al Baraha. She praised the program’s advanced standard and its qualitative youth outcomes, which demonstrated participants’ understanding of the significance of national identity in creating a cohesive society.
According to the minister, the program has graduated five cohorts of 80 participants over the course of three editions, helping to increase knowledge of Bahraini customs, traditions, and genuine local manifestations while also empowering young people to connect more closely with their cultural heritage.
A tour of the program‘s interactive stations, where participants shared their experiences and results, was part of the ceremony. The young people who took part were also honored by the Minister.
Through interactive activities and workshops, the ministry’s “Bil Bahraini” program aims to strengthen young people’s connection to Bahrain’s identity, heritage, and cultural legacy in collaboration with the national plan to promote belonging and citizenship values (Bahrinona) and pertinent national entities.
