The Shaikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center for Culture and Research, Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre, and the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities organize the festival every year. March to May of 2026 is when it will run for three months.

Along with the participation of the Embassies of France, Palestine, Germany, Italy, India, and China to the Kingdom of Bahrain, several cultural institutions are working together to enhance this year’s program, including Albareh Art Space, Al Riwaq Art Space, Art Concept Gallery, Folk Art Space, La Fontaine Centre for Contemporary Art, and Souq Al Baraha.

The Economic Development Board (EDB) is the festival’s strategic sponsor. Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) is the Gold Sponsor, while National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) and Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) are the Silver Sponsors.

“We take pride in the continuity of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s cultural seasons, and the Spring of Culture Festival stands as one of its most prominent highlights,” stated Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), on this occasion. The event embodies the ideas of openness to cultures and civilizations from around the world while also reflecting the genuine aspects of Bahraini society and the cultural legacy that sets our Gulf area apart.

He continued by saying that the festival offers a diverse range of events, such as talks, musical evenings, theatrical productions, and more, which reflect a rich cultural fusion and provide audiences with an exciting and dynamic experience. The festival’s international aspect is further enhanced by the inclusion of notable cultural, intellectual, and artistic figures from friendly and sister nations.

The president of BACA expressed gratitude to everyone who helped plan and execute this year’s event, especially the festival’s sponsors and supporters, whose contributions are essential to its ongoing success. He emphasized how crucial collaborations between the public and commercial sectors are to projecting a positive image of the Kingdom both domestically and abroad.

“Our goal is to further solidify Bahrain’s status as a premier cultural center that showcases the extraordinary talent of its people, while honoring the contributions of notable cultures, intellectuals, and artists,” said Damian Bush, CEO of Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre. Spring of Culture 2026, in its twentieth year, aims to showcase Bahrain’s receptiveness to other cultures by bolstering and growing private sector investments in culture. These initiatives also benefit tourism, which we view as a vital and expanding industry with enormous development and economic growth potential as well as substantial competitive advantages. An exciting new chapter for the festival will also be marked this season with the inauguration of Spring of Culture at the brand-new 3,500-seat world-class indoor venue, Terminal 4 by Beyon, which is intended for anything from comedy and theatrical productions to thrilling international concerts.

With the participation of prominent local and regional cultural and media leaders, the festival also offers a wide variety of cultural events spread around the Kingdom, such as poetry evenings, lectures, and intellectual seminars.
