In an engaging setting full of cultural, historical, and entertainment events for children and guests, the festival will include a unique Gergaon celebration that coincides with the Kingdom’s observation of this long-standing annual occasion.

From Tuesday, March 3 through Friday, March 6, the festival will take place over four days in a row. Every day from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., the Heritage Village will be open to the public.

The distribution of Gergaon among the village houses, daily performances by folk arts organizations, and kid-focused entertainment activities are just a few of the noteworthy programs and events that are part of this year’s edition. By showcasing Bahrain’s genuine folk history, enhancing its visibility, and fostering its values throughout generations, the festival provides an integrated cultural and tourism experience.

The children’s character “Baba Yaseen” will also be featured at the festival, presenting interactive segments for younger audiences. Additionally, Bahrain TV’s “Al Sariyah” program will provide media coverage of the festival during the holy month of Ramadan, highlighting its heritage themes and variety of activities.

Additionally, a carnival area has been set aside, with a variety of entertainment areas appropriate for all age groups in a joyous setting that captures the essence of the holy month. Numerous eateries and coffee shops will take part, providing an extensive assortment of Ramadan fare and drinks.

In order to further solidify the Heritage Village’s status as a national landmark that reflects the richness and authenticity of Bahraini identity and promotes cultural and tourism activity in the Kingdom, the Ministry of Information expressed its hope that the festival will be well received by the public and help to revive the traditional Ramadan atmosphere and strengthen community engagement.
