October 20, Manama (BNA): The Royal Golf Club is getting ready to host the golf competitions as part of the 2025 Asian Youth Games, which are sponsored by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Royal Golf Club course will host the golf tournaments from October 22 to October 25.

Widespread participation from all around the Asian continent will be seen in the official tournament rounds, which will take place from October 23 to October 25 after the official practice round on Wednesday, October 22.
A total of 85 male and female players from 25 Asian nations will compete in the competition, represented by 10 girls’ teams and 17 boys’ teams. In keeping with the growth of golf in Bahrain and its increasing prominence on the regional and continental stages, three Bahraini players will compete for the Kingdom in the boys’ division.
Since some of the best young golfers from Asia will be attending the competition, this hosting represents a new national accomplishment in the history of the Royal Golf Club and Bahraini sport. It enhances Bahrain’s standing as one of the region’s top sports destinations and a major venue for holding major international athletic events.
The Royal Golf facility’s chairman, Waleed Abdulhameed Al Alawi, said he was proud that the facility had been chosen as the official location for the Asian Youth Games golf tournaments. He emphasized that the club’s sophisticated infrastructure and professional standards in hosting important competitions are highly trusted, which is reflected in this decision.
Al Alawi went on to say that the club’s facilities and courses have been set up in accordance with the highest international technical standards, guaranteeing athletes and participants an amazing experience that is worthy of Bahrain‘s stellar organizational skills and reputation. He pointed out that this tournament is a great way to showcase golf’s development in the Kingdom and shows how strongly Bahrain supports the sports industry.
He added that hosting the golf tournaments as part of the Asian Youth Games is a historic occasion for Bahraini sport and embodies the Kingdom’s goal of empowering young people and promoting sport as a vital component of national growth. He emphasized that, in collaboration with the organizing committee and pertinent authorities, the Royal Golf Club will do everything within its power to guarantee the success of this significant continental event.
