Manama, Feb. 13 (BNA): The Royal Endurance Team reached a new worldwide milestone as the horse “Bolt de Venelles” topped the International Federation for Equestrian Sports’ 2025 Juniors and Young Riders World Rankings, enhancing the team’s reputation internationally.

Coach Jaafar Merza of the Royal Endurance Team received a shield and certificate of excellence from His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the team’s captain and representative of His Majesty the King for Youth Affairs and Humanitarian Work, in appreciation of his administrative and technical contributions to the accomplishment.

Isa Hameed Al Anezi, a member of the Royal Endurance Team, was also featured in the rankings. He won third place worldwide in the juniors and young riders category in 2025 and was honored by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad.

According to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, who was present at the event, the outcomes demonstrate the Royal Endurance Team’s professionalism and continuous attempts to raise the Kingdom of Bahrain’s profile in international contests.

His Highness pointed out that concentrating on the junior and young divisions is an investment in endurance sports’ future. He praised the technical and administrative teams’ efforts and stated that further work will be done to secure more victories and build on the accomplishments that have already been made.
