September 18, Manama (BNA): His Majesty the King’s Representative for Youth Affairs and Humanitarian Work, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, oversaw the introduction of an award for the greatest social media coverage of the 2025–2026 Nasser bin Hamad Premier Football League.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad launches social media award for football league coverage
The program highlights the importance of the media to the success of national athletic events and was introduced by the media office of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad. Instagram coverage will be the main emphasis of the prize, which will motivate media organizations, sports accounts, and people to provide original and thorough material.
A specialized panel of judges with expertise in digital and sports media will assess submissions based on standards including originality, excellence, professionalism, engagement, diversity, analysis, photography, infographics, and video production. Extra awards will be given for the finest interviews, photos, videos, and designs.
Sports platforms, personal profiles, and Instagram accounts of local publications are also eligible to participate. Candidates must fill out the registration form at https://2h.ae/ZjFN, including the account name, contact information, and responsible person. The specified hashtag must be used in all posts. Within two days following the end of each round, entries will be assessed.
At the league’s closing ceremony at the conclusion of the 2025–2026 season, the top three champions will be presented with commemorative shields and monetary prizes.
