Manama, Jan. 15 (BNA): The Hawa Al Manama festival has been extended for an extra two days by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA). This decision was made in response to requests from participants and Manama Souq vendors, as well as the high attendance the event has received since its inception.

The event will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Friday, January 16, and Saturday, January 17, according to the authority. The event is expected to draw large crowds of citizens, locals, and tourists due to the varied tourism experiences it provides.

Along with interactive areas catering to families and tourists of all ages, it also features cultural and heritage activities that are intended to reflect the authenticity of the site and the nature of its associated experiences, such as specialized performances, historical exhibitions, and experiences that bring back details of everyday life in the souq over the past few decades.
