November 15, Manama (BNA): Riders from stables all around the Kingdom participated in the qualifying endurance races held by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) to kick off the 2025–2026 season.

The Bahrain International Endurance Village hosted the events, which featured 80- and 40-kilometer competitions in addition to 100-kilometer local and international races.

The organization stated that these qualifying events are a part of getting ready for the forthcoming season, which is anticipated to have fierce competition as riders try to earn spots in regional and worldwide championships.

His Highness The significance of qualifying events as the entry point for stables and riders to the season’s upcoming engagements was emphasized by BREEF President Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. According to him, the organization is still dedicated to promoting the growth of endurance sports and assisting Bahrain in maintaining its successes both locally and globally.

The qualifying events are an important step in getting riders ready for their future obligations, according to Dr. Khalid Ahmed Hassan, Assistant Secretary General of BREEF and Director of the Royal Endurance Team. He emphasized how endurance sports have improved Bahrain’s reputation abroad.

He pointed out that the high level of participation is indicative of the sport’s continued development in the area, especially with the growing number of young riders.

Strong performances throughout the events highlighted the sport’s growing popularity in Bahrain and hinted at a tough season ahead.
