Riyadh, Nov. 9 (BNA): At the Sixth Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Bahrain added two more medals in judo to its already impressive collection of three—two bronze and one silver.

Askerbii Gerbekov took home bronze in the under-81kg class, while Israpil Sagaipov earned silver in the under-90kg division.
In the under-60 kg division, Ruslan Poltoratsky won bronze, Bahrain’s first medal.
The men’s team in table tennis advanced to the quarterfinals before losing to Algeria. Despite losing in the group stage, the women’s team learned a lot about traveling abroad.
In a crucial encounter, the Bahraini volleyball team will take on Turkey in an effort to advance.
Adrian Granja (men’s under-79 kg) and Ingrid Grueso (women’s under-69 kg) competed at Arena Boulevard to mark Bahrain‘s weightlifting debut.
