October 27, Manama (BNA): The Kingdom’s exceptional organizational accomplishment in hosting the Third Asian Youth Games was praised by members of the Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA). They confirmed that this accomplishment is a reflection of Bahrain’s extensive and sophisticated administrative and technical skills, which allow it to host and oversee significant international athletic events in accordance with the highest international standards.

The members told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that this achievement is not a one-time event but rather a continuation of Bahrain’s consistent advancement in the sports industry, strengthening the Kingdom’s standing as a top regional sports destination. They further stated that the event highlights Bahrain’s preparedness to host significant competitions on a larger international scale and is an investment in the country’s human athletic capacity.

Former track and field athlete Sara Al Binkhalil, a member of the Referees group, stated that the group prioritized accuracy and timeliness through daily meetings to examine competition schedules and guarantee adherence to the highest organizational and technical standards. She emphasized how the committee’s emphasis on referee readiness and precise duty distribution helped to ensure the contests ran smoothly and accurately.

Al Binkhalil praised the participants’ positive attitude, pointing out that athletics, sometimes known as the “mother of all sports,” embodies both challenge and diversity. She continued by saying that the outstanding organization demonstrated the professionalism and cooperation of the Bahraini organizing committee and offered the perfect setting for both athletes and referees.

Former Olympic sprinter and BAA member Ruqayya Al Ghasra called Bahrain‘s hosting of the 3rd Asian Youth Games an important occasion that shows the Kingdom’s dedication to bolstering its position in Asian sports. She claimed that all Bahraini athletes were proud to be involved in the 3rd Youth Asian Games.

The Bahrain Track and Field Team Administrator, Ahmed Mohammed, stated that despite the short preparation period, the tournament was well-run because of the combined efforts of all committees, which helped showcase Bahrain’s organizational capabilities and present the competitions in the best possible way.

Bashayer Salman of the BAA, meantime, stated that organizing the 3rd Asian Youth Games was a great honor for the national staff and emphasized that the success of the tournament was mostly due to the spirit of teamwork. She continued by saying that the quick and effective organization, completed in record time, demonstrated Bahrainis’ tenacity and commitment to conquering obstacles.

The outstanding organization of the 3rd Asian Youth Games, according to Fatima Al Madoub, in charge of team arrangements and athlete admission procedures, was the consequence of efficient cooperation across numerous committees and entities, making the event both pleasurable and successful by all metrics.
