The event, which brought together one hundred academic counselors, concentrated on leveraging data-driven resources from Skills Bahrain, including career maps, skills reports, and national standards, to assist students in making well-informed decisions about their future. The Employability Skills Portal (ESP), which was created in collaboration with the Information & eGovernment Authority and offers current labor market statistics, was also presented to the participants.

According to Amer Marhoon, Managing Director of Skills Bahrain, the program is to help national initiatives to promote early career awareness and job market preparedness by providing counselors with trustworthy market data to direct students toward appropriate educational and professional routes.

Enhancing the role of counselors is essential to increasing the quality of assistance in schools, according to Lulwa Ghasan Al Muhanna, Director of Licensing and Monitoring of Private Schools. She emphasized the importance of working with Skills Bahrain to ensure accurate, student-centered advice.

A national effort called Skills Bahrain analyzes economic sectors and offers useful tools that increase Bahraini talent’s competitiveness in order to close the gap between education and employment.
