October 10, Manama (BNA): The chairman of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, commended Bahrain’s advancements in digital innovation and education, pointing out that the nation’s accomplishments are a reflection of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s goal of equipping the next generation to prosper in a world that is changing quickly due to technology and artificial intelligence.

Al Saleh praised the Kingdom’s leadership for its unwavering dedication to encouraging creativity, advancing digital literacy, and bringing education into line with international technological trends during his remarks at the 2025 UNESCO–King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Prize for the Use of ICT in Education ceremony.

Additionally, he commended the efforts of Education Minister Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma in showcasing Bahrain’s international contributions to education and sustainable development, as well as the backing of Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa for prioritizing educational quality and innovation.

Al Saleh expressed pride in the University of Bahrain’s inclusion among the world’s top universities, a milestone that highlights the Kingdom’s growing international reputation for educational excellence, and he congratulated the winning projects for their creative approaches to responsibly integrating digital tools in education.
