October 1, Manama (BNA): The Holy Quran Recitation and Teachers Preparation Institute held a graduation ceremony for the second cohort of the Quran Teacher Diploma program at the Isa Cultural Center, with Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, in attendance. There were 59 graduates in all, 14 of whom were male and 45 of them were female.

Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed thanked His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his ongoing support of the Institute and its initiatives. He also praised the government, which is led by Prime Minister and Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for its ongoing support.

Launched under HM the King’s vision ten years ago, this program has established the institute as a specialized center for Quranic study and teacher development, and Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed emphasized its significance.

Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed gave the graduates their certificates at the end of the ceremony, which included speeches, a documentary video, and a recitation of the Quran. Twelve of the 59 graduates received “High Distinction,” twenty-three received “Distinction,” and twenty-four received other graduation ratings.
