Manama, Feb. 23 (BNA): From Sunday, March 29 to Tuesday, March 31, the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA), together with the Ministry of Education, will conduct the National Examinations for Grade 12 students. All pupils attending government schools in the Kingdom will take part, while private school students might choose not to.
Education Ministry, BQA to hold national examinations for Grade 12 students
The knowledge and abilities students have gained during their pre-university education are evaluated by the National Examinations. In order to assess their fundamental linguistic and numeracy skills as well as their capacity for efficient analysis, interpretation, and application of information and data, students take tests in Arabic, English, and mathematics.
Additionally, the exams give students a chance to gain a deeper understanding of their academic strengths, which helps them make well-informed judgments on their future academic paths. According to their own laws and regulations, higher education institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain may use the results of national examinations as a component of their entrance requirements, which would help students advance academically.
Since 2009, the BQA has been in charge of the National Examinations’ execution. Experts and specialists in education create the tests, which are then administered in accordance with established schedules and criteria in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.
