Manama, September 27 (BNA): The American School in the Kingdom of Bahrain organized the Arabic Language and Islamic Education Conference, which was launched by Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education.

Teachers of Arabic and Islamic education, department heads, supervisors of education, administrators, and invited visitors were all present at the conference.

The Minister emphasized in his introductory remarks the importance of Arabic and Islamic education instructors in fostering a sense of national identity and ingraining genuine values. He observed that Bahraini educators are dedicated to staying up to date with advancements in education, as evidenced by their innovative approaches and creative interaction with successful international teaching experiences. He emphasized the unique qualities of Arabic and the ministry’s initiatives to advance its instruction by emphasizing the Holy Quran’s reading, recitation, and interpretation.

In his remarks, American School Director Dave McMaster praised the Ministry of Education’s backing of programs that benefit both educators and learners. According to him, these kinds of gatherings offer a valuable forum for exchanging knowledge and refining instructional techniques, which benefits students and raises academic standards.

Attending the conference, according to Dr. Noor Abu Atiya, Head of Arabic Language and Culture at the American School, enhances many facets of teaching Arabic and Islamic education by exchanging best practices and offering interactive sessions and training workshops that offer creative, useful solutions.

Three panel discussions throughout the conference covered topics such as the difficulties faced by Arabic and Islamic education instructors, the function of educational leaders in promoting language and identity, and innovative teaching strategies. Additionally, it featured specialized training sessions intended to improve teachers’ abilities and professional potential.

The Ministry of Education’s desire to encourage educational programs that improve Arabic language instruction and Islamic education while bolstering teachers’ professional competencies to provide high-quality instruction was reflected in the conference.
