Candidates seeking for one of CPISP’s ten yearly scholarships must complete the training term as part of the selection process.

The CPISP’s Executive Director, Ava Garbutt, praised the students’ performance, commitment, and hard work during the candidacy training, which started last summer in collaboration with the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF).

At the BIBF, she gave certificates of accomplishment to the participants in the Candidacy Program.

Courses on leadership, critical thinking, and academic writing were part of the candidate training.

Along with personality and career path assessments, students were permitted to participate in communications development training, which included a Level 3 Certificate in Team Leading accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in the UK.

In addition to offering IELTS and SAT preparation classes for applicants, CPISP arranged panel discussions and guest lectures with knowledgeable experts on academic, career, and personal development-related subjects.

Garbutt confirmed that the final 10 scholarship applicants will be chosen based on their GPA, SAT and IELTS scores, and their performance in the critical thinking and leadership training courses. Students from both public and private schools will be among the candidates.

Garbutt wished the students luck and thanked the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Information, and the BIBF for their ongoing support of the program.
