October 3, Manama (BNA): The establishment of a youth creativity and innovation team by the Civil Service Bureau (CBS) was hailed by Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, as a forward-thinking initiative that reflects national confidence in young Bahrainis’ abilities and their capacity to produce innovative ideas that improve institutional performance. This is the second youth-focused committee to be formed across government agencies, she said.

According to the minister, the action is in line with His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s vision, who is the King’s Representative for Youth Affairs and Humanitarian Work, to empower youth and provide them with a platform to showcase ideas and projects that spur innovation and progress in the public sector.
She praised the CSB President Shaikh Duaij bin Salman bin Duaij Al Khalifa’s leadership for initiating programs that enhance the involvement of young people in government agencies. She continued by saying that this program shows a forward-thinking approach to investing in the country’s talent and highlights faith in the capacity of youth to lead and create a contemporary, vibrant workplace culture.
In addition to reaffirming her ministry’s support for youth-centered national programs, Tawfiqi emphasized that the new team has a crucial role to play in promoting the vitality, commitment, and inventiveness of Bahraini youth and in advancing the Kingdom’s overall development.
