October 10, Manama (BNA): Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi emphasized that the Labour Fund’s (Tamkeen) “NextGen Board” initiative is a groundbreaking move that shows faith in Bahraini youth’s potential and gives them more chances to start businesses and support their sustainability.

According to the minister, the project is in line with the directives of His Majesty the King’s Representative for Youth Affairs and Humanitarian Work, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who supports enabling young people to innovate and turn ideas into practical projects that propel the country’s progress.
She also emphasized the backing of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court and Chairman of the Labour Fund’s (Tamkeen) Board of Directors, for any initiatives to develop Bahraini youth’s abilities and invest in national talent. She praised Tamkeen’s efforts to give young people a forum to share their thoughts and reach their full potential.
According to Tawfiqi, the “NextGen Board,” which is made up of gifted young Bahrainis, will be a driving force behind Tamkeen’s purpose and enhance its initiatives to foster an innovative and creative culture. She emphasized that the Ministry of Youth Affairs will keep funding these kinds of programs since they are essential to the growth and empowerment of Bahraini youth.
