October 11, Manama (BNA): Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi praised the Future Paramedic program’s accomplishments and its contribution to instilling a sense of responsibility among young people.

The minister emphasized that one of the main tenets of the ministry’s plan to raise a responsible and conscious generation that can make meaningful contributions to community service and national development is equipping young people with fundamental life skills. She emphasized the ministry’s emphasis on creating and carrying out training programs that provide young people the skills they need to deal with a variety of life circumstances with competence and confidence while promoting an awareness-based and responsible culture.

The statements were made at the Future Paramedic program’s closing ceremony, which was organized by Youth City 2030, the Science Center, and the Model Youth Centers in Muharraq and Hamad Town in collaboration with the Paramedics Academy Team and with funding from Al Salam Bank. The program’s objectives were to increase young understanding of health and first aid issues and to help them become more capable of handling emergencies with poise and accountability.

The program participants were recognized by the Minister of Youth Affairs for their dedication to gaining new skills and making the most of the training opportunity. She also paid tribute to Al Salam Bank, praising its collaboration in promoting youth first aid training and certification programs.

Yasmin Mufeed, the Paramedics Academy Team’s director of public relations, was proud of the program‘s accomplishments and called it a premier humanitarian and awareness campaign. More than 200 youngsters between the ages of 7 and 14 were trained by the program, she said.

According to Mofeed, the program has aided in fostering a first aid culture among young people by promoting initiative, accountability, and self-assurance in handling crises. She said that graduating a fresh class of Future Paramedics represents a bright future generation that embraces altruism and humanitarian ideals from a young age.

In addition to a film presentation showcasing the program‘s main training exercises and seminars, the event featured a live demonstration that simulated an emergency scenario, allowing participants to demonstrate their prompt and efficient response abilities.
