Manama, Jan. 17 (BNA): The establishment of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza as a temporary transitional body and the announcement of the start of the second phase of the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict put forth by His Excellency Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, were both welcomed by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Bahrain welcomes second phase of Gaza peace plan
The Kingdom of Bahrain praised the US President’s creation of the Board of Peace and the efforts made to put an end to the conflict in Gaza and establish enduring peace in the area, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry restated the Kingdom’s stance, which calls for the start of reconstruction and recovery activities, the stabilization of the truce in the Gaza Strip, and the facilitation of the supply of humanitarian supplies to people. In line with UN resolutions, the Arab Peace Initiative, and the two-state solution, it also emphasized the significance of pursuing a just, all-encompassing, and sustainable peace in a way that protects both regional security and stability and global peace and security.
