Manama, Feb. 15 (BNA): The Moon Sighting Committee will meet on the evening of Tuesday, Sha’ban 25 1447 AH, or February 17, 2025, according to the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA). The committee will hear testimony from people inside the Kingdom regarding the sighting of the crescent moon that signals the start of the holy month of Ramadhan, as well as reports from the Islamic world that confirm the start of the month.

The council urged anyone with reliable accounts or information about seeing the crescent moon to get in touch with the Moon Sighting Committee right away.
