Following the Chief Executive Officer’s recommendation, Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Commander of the Royal Guard, and Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, issued Decision (2) of 2025 appointing directors at the National Cybersecurity Centre. This decision was based on Royal Decree (30) of 2024, which transferred the affiliation of the National Cybersecurity Centre to the Supreme Defence Council, and Royal Decree (17) of 2025 concerning the center.

Directors appointed at National Cybersecurity Centre

The following appointments were made in accordance with the decision:

1. Director of the National Response Directorate, Ahmed Isa Ahmed Abulfateh.
2. Director of the Cyber Defense Directorate Ali Mohammed Ahmed Al Zayani.
3. The director of the Directorate of Systems Development and Artificial Intelligence is Shaikha Manar bint Abdulla bin Ali Al Khalifa.

4. The director of the Cyber Governance Directorate is Yousef Mohamed Ali Muthanna.
5. The director of the Information Systems Operations Directorate is Salman Duaij Khalifa Al Yasi.
6. The Resources and Services Directorate’s director is Noof Juma Rashid Al Jowder.
7. The director of the Cyber Awareness and Training Directorate is Jawaher Jasim Mohamed Al Khaja.
8. Director of the Follow-up and Coordination Directorate, Budoor Ahmed Ali Al Kuwari.

The National Cybersecurity Center’s chief executive officer will carry out the decision’s terms, which go into force on the day it is issued.
