Manama, Feb. 28 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain has been the target of external attacks that targeted locations and infrastructure inside its boundaries, according to the National Communication Centre (NCC). The sovereignty and security of the Kingdom were flagrantly violated by these acts.
Statement by the National Communication Centre
The military and security services were taking all required operational actions on the ground and had promptly triggered established emergency protocols.
The NCC expressed how strongly the Government of Bahrain condemns these heinous crimes, which directly jeopardize the security of the Kingdom and the safety of its people.
In concert with its allies and partners, the government underlined its complete right to react and to take all necessary steps to protect its sovereignty and national security.
In accordance with the demands of national interest and security, the government would eventually provide more information about military developments.
The public was urged by the National Communication Center to be alert and to only obtain information from official sources. To maintain national stability and public safety, the NCC asked everyone to abstain from spreading unconfirmed reports or rumors.
