Manama, Oct. 18 (BNA):  The innovative move to improve and expand postal services throughout the Kingdom’s governorates, Bahrain Post’s mobile postal services project, was unveiled by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications. The initiative aims to offer practical solutions that facilitate residents’ and citizens’ access to postal services without requiring them to visit conventional post offices.

The project is a significant step toward enhancing the consumer experience, according to Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al Haidan, Assistant Undersecretary for Postal Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications. In every governorate, it provides a quick and easy way to complete postal transactions, demonstrating the ministry’s dedication to offering cutting-edge services that satisfy the demands of both individuals and organizations.

As part of the ministry’s efforts to encourage digital transformation, improve service quality, and increase customer happiness, he noted, the initiative is a part of a larger plan to modernize and develop postal infrastructure and broaden the range of services. Dr. Al Haidan emphasized the ministry’s desire to keep putting ideas into action that improve customer services and stay up to date with global advancements.

In order to provide postal services throughout the governorates of the Kingdom, the initiative includes vehicles outfitted with the newest technologies. The service allows clients to quickly and flexibly access postal services in numerous locations with hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday through Thursday.

Clients who would like to take use of the service can schedule an appointment in advance by calling the Customer Contact Center at 80001100, sending an email to enquiry@mtt.gov.bh, or visiting the service’s dedicated website at www.bahrainpost.gov.bh. They can also reach the service at 17341022, which is the WhatsApp number. A follow-up contact from the Bahrain Post staff will confirm appointments, which should be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
