In the fifth session of the “Hadith” (Talk) initiative, which has as its theme “Youth and the Consolidation of National Identity,” senior officials and young Bahrainis join Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs and member of the Ministerial Follow-up Committee for the National Plan to Promote National Belonging and Reinforce the Values of Citizenship “Bahrainouna.”
Youth Affairs Minister meets “Hadith” initiative participants
The Minister reaffirmed that empowering young people and promoting social cohesion still depend heavily on enhancing national identity and creating a sense of belonging. Young people are in the vanguard of national development efforts thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s ongoing support and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s directives as Prime Minister and Crown Prince.
She also praised the assistance provided to the youth sector by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Youth Affairs and Humanitarian Work, pointing out that it allows young people to actively participate in safeguarding Bahrain’s culture and values.
Discussions on young involvement in advancing national values and favorably representing Bahrain on a variety of venues were included in the session. In addition to expressing gratitude for the effort, participants reaffirmed their dedication to advancing the country.
The “Hadith” initiative is a component of the Ministry’s endeavors to promote a culture of constructive engagement and shared responsibility, as well as to increase young participation in policy discussions and program development.
