Manama, Sep. 1 (BNA): The second meeting of the Equal Opportunities Committee for 2025 was chaired by Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, Chief Executive of the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA). The committee’s goal is to empower women and promote equality in an inclusive workplace, reflecting the Authority’s continuous efforts to improve its work system to guarantee efficiency and fairness for all employees.
iGA holds second Equal Opportunities Committee meeting for 2025
The meeting looked at the steps taken by the iGA to ensure merit-based promotions and appointments, reviewed employee needs to make sure all groups’ needs are met, and discussed governance mechanisms related to equal opportunities in accordance with Civil Service Bureau (CSB) directives. Additionally, the iGA’s services for guaranteeing equitable chances for all workers were showcased.
The Human and Financial Resources Directorate’s latest job satisfaction index results were presented at the meeting, along with the creation of a mechanism for submitting ideas aimed at improving equal opportunities and the creation of an official circular detailing the iGA’s gender equality protocols.
By reaffirming the iGA’s dedication to promoting an equitable and inclusive workplace, bolstering the principles of equal opportunity, and recognizing the committee members’ ongoing efforts to empower workers and assist Bahraini women in the workplace, the meeting came to a close and improved social and professional stability.
