October 15, Manama (BNA): Together with Delmon Gate, Almoayyed Contracting Group, Naseej Real Estate, and First Bahrain Real Estate Development Company, the Ministry of dwelling and Urban Planning has inked contracts to build 137 new dwelling units in Salman City. The projects are part of the government’s engagement with the private sector to implement the Land Development Rights Program.
Housing Ministry to build 137 new units in Salman City
As per the agreements, First Bahrain will execute 44 units as part of the existing programs, Delmon Gate will construct 69 apartments, and Naseej Real Estate and Almoayyed Contracting will construct 24 units.
Along with Amin Al Arrayed, CEO of Naseej Real Estate, Hala Farooq Almoayyed, Contracting Executive Director of Almoayyed Contracting, Abdullah Ali, CEO of Delmon Gate, and Omar Faisal Al Tamimi, CEO of Bahrain First Development Company, Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, signed the agreements.
Projects like the “Suhail” housing project in the Lawzi district, the “Al Naseem” district project in Salman City, the “Al Wadi” in Buhair, and Hawrat Sanad, which have already provided hundreds of homes for beneficiaries, are in line with the ministry’s plan to spread the Government Land Development Rights Programme throughout the Kingdom, according to Al Rumaihi. Public-private partnerships are essential to guaranteeing sustainable housing services, she continued, adding that the program expedites home allocations for Bahraini families by broadening options in accordance with people’ financial capabilities.
The minister also praised local real estate developers’ increasing enthusiasm in taking part in the program, pointing out that more bidder competition helps provide citizens with high-quality, reasonably priced housing.
The companies’ representatives reaffirmed their dedication to producing high-quality homes through solid public-private partnerships and supporting Bahrain’s housing programs.
