Manama, Mar. 19 (BNA): After the recent Iranian strikes, Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, visited the Hidd Housing Project to assess the state of repairs to residents’ homes. The Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, ordered the visit and instructed the government to repair any property damage to civilians.
Housing Minister inspects repair works and temporary housing units
In order to enable residents to return to their homes as quickly as possible, the Minister examined ongoing maintenance to make sure it was moving forward in accordance with the schedule. She emphasized that these initiatives demonstrate the Kingdom of Bahrain’s dedication to safeguarding its residents and preserving their stability and standard of living, as directed by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Additionally, the Minister went to the Salman City temporary alternate housing project. She examined how well-equipped the completely furnished flats were to accommodate those whose homes in Hidd and Sitra were damaged, giving them a secure place to live while repairs were made.
Minister Al Rumaihi affirmed that the Ministry is carrying out an integrated plan that entails evaluating damages, making repairs, and offering quick housing alternatives in collaboration with pertinent government agencies.
She pointed out that the government’s strategy of promptly attending to people’ needs and guaranteeing their safety continues to be the top priority is reflected in the provision of completely furnished temporary residences.
