October 12, Manama (BNA): His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of the Interior and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology, met with His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, at the Ministry of Interior today.

The goals of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the orders of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, are in line with this meeting. Approved by the Cabinet and supervised by the Government Executive Committee, which is led by the Prime Minister and Crown Prince, it is a component of the Government Priorities Framework.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman spoke at the gathering about the Ministry’s advancements in putting digital transformation plans into action that help the Kingdom achieve its goals of improving public services and more efficiently serving the needs of its residents. He emphasized Bahrain‘s technological infrastructure developments, pointing out that the Kingdom’s overall development depends on its effectiveness and capacity.
His Highness emphasized that the Kingdom’s advancement depends on digital transformation, which improves the efficacy, security, and efficiency of government services. He also made the point that utilizing the potential of cutting-edge technology and intelligent systems encourages innovation and propels progress.
His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla replied that he was grateful for the visit of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman. He commended the initiatives to enhance the quality of government services for locals and citizens. Under the direction of His Majesty the King and with assistance from HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, these projects help Bahrain develop holistically and establish the country as a pioneer in digital transformation.
