Manama, March 12 (BNA): In view of the current situation, the deceitful Iranian aggression against the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the subsequent cancellation or suspension of multiple flights, the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) announced extraordinary measures regarding visit visas.

According to Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for NPRA, holders of all visitation visas who are presently within the Kingdom of Bahrain and whose authorized stay expired on or after February 28, 2026, will be exempt from fines resulting from delayed departure from the country for an extra month after the airspace reopens.

He further stated that tourists from outside the Kingdom who applied for visas prior to February 28, 2026, but were unable to use them because of extraordinary circumstances will have their visas extended by an extra three months.

The NPRA urged everyone to follow the proper channels for information and reaffirmed its commitment to expediting traveler procedures and handling extraordinary situations.
