Manama, Nov. 10 (BNA): Faisal Al Ali, chief editor of the Al Watan newspaper, was received by Information Minister Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi.
Information Minister receives Editor-in-Chief of Al Watan newspaper
The minister wished Al Ali success in fulfilling his obligations and complimented him on the confidence the newspaper’s board of directors had placed in him and on his appointment as Editor-in-Chief. He was optimistic that Al Watan will keep expanding on its successes and uphold its illustrious position in Bahrain’s media environment.
Dr. Al Noaimi praised Al Watan for its impartial and professional coverage of national issues, pointing out that it has enhanced Bahrain’s media landscape and highlighted the Kingdom’s development accomplishments under the direction of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. In order to further promote the national media message, he reiterated the Ministry of Information’s dedication to enhancing collaboration with all Bahraini media organizations.
Al Ali, for his part, thanked the minister and the ministry for its ongoing assistance. He reaffirmed Al Watan’s desire to deepen its positive collaboration with the Ministry of Information and its dedication to bolstering Bahrain’s responsible and professional national media industry.
