Manama, Feb. 22 (BNA): Senior officers of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) were treated to a Ramadan iftar dinner today by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Deputy King.

The BDF Commander-in-Chief, HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, welcomed His Royal Highness upon his arrival.
Additionally present were His Highness Lieutenant Colonel Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court.
Senior BDF personnel, including Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, the BDF Chief of Staff, and HE Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, the Minister of Defence Affairs, also greeted His Royal Highness.
His Royal Highness took delight in the BDF members’ steadfast devotion and commitment to carrying out their national duty, supporting the Kingdom, and preserving its accomplishments.
Their noble sacrifices and services to the advancement of the Kingdom were praised by His Royal Highness.
Under the direction and assistance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the BDF has attained an advanced level of combat readiness, according to HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad.
His Royal Highness wished the Kingdom, Arab, and Islamic countries continued stability, development, and prosperity on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, exchanging greetings with the BDF Commander-in-Chief and top officers.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief then expressed his hope that the Kingdom and its citizens will continue to experience safety, stability, and prosperity under the direction of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief, speaking for the BDF, conveyed his appreciation for His Royal Highness’ dedication and steadfast support of the BDF and its members.
