Manama, Oct. 29 (BNA): The Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, presided over a meeting of the Bureau of the Council of Representatives to discuss issues of parliamentary interest and the agenda for the next sessions.

Council of Representatives commend royal directives on housing, employment

The vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, were praised at the meeting. These directives aimed at developing housing programs and services, expanding options to strengthen social stability and provide adequate housing for Bahraini families, and creating quality opportunities for Bahraini citizens across various sectors.

The meeting applauded HRH the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister’s recommendations to lower the maximum monthly installments for “Mazaya” program beneficiaries by boosting government funding and directing the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to broaden housing options in order to satisfy citizens’ desires.

Additionally, they conveyed gratitude for the national efforts and community collaboration in carrying out HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s direction to the Ministry of Labor, which mandates that each registered jobseeker be given three job possibilities by the end of the year. It emphasized the private sector’s noteworthy collaboration in promoting housing services, development projects, and employment efforts.
